8/10
This spot is just wicked convenient, right by some great restaurants and the tram. The staff? Super friendly, made us feel right at home. The breakfast was also nice enough, lotsa options. The view from our room was stunning but I gotta say, the decor felt a little dated, could really use a refresh. Overall, a good stay.

Had a great stay! The location was perfect for exploring Bordeaux, and the tram hub right outside made transit a breeze. My room had a lovely balcony with city views, and the staff were genuinely helpful. Only downside? A few aging decor elements here and there.

Proximity to tram hub, Large windows in rooms, Significant bathroom amenities
Room sizes felt so cramped I couldn’t move without bumping into furniture!!! The elevator’s small size made transporting luggage a hassle. The room decor is outdated and unimpressive, emphasizing a need for renovation!!!

The Hotel De Normandie provided an excellent base for exploring Bordeaux. Its prime location offered easy access to the tram line and nearby tourist attractions, making it convenient to visit the stunning Miroir d'Eau and enjoy peaceful walks along the Garonne River.
Some areas look a bit tired.

I stayed in a Grand-Confort Vue Ville room for 3 nights, and it was pretty nice. The bed was super comfy, and I loved having a separate sitting area—it felt spacious. The views of the city were gorgeous, especially during sunrise. The bathroom was stylish with modern fixtures, and everything was clean. But I noticed some areas of the hotel looked a bit tired, which was slightly disappointing. Also, a bit of noise from the street could be heard, despite the good soundproofing. Not terrible, just not perfect!

The shower pressure was just awesome, and I really enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge area while sipping coffee from their Nespresso machine each morning. You can also unwind in the charming courtyard or take a nice stroll nearby. The breakfast could use a bit more variety, but that didn't take away from my overall experience. 😊
